ANDREA CHENG'S TALISENIN WEST

From her blog:

"A Guide to North-Central Arizona: Taliesin West, Scottsdale

Taliesin West was Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home and school of architecture, which is still in operation today. This. Place. Is. Awesome. I was dizzy-drunk from all the natural light, warm Cherokee reds, and hand-built wood furnishings. We took a 90-minute tour and got to sit in the furniture that he designed and his apprentices built, walk the grounds of the house, and learn about his life and work. Totally worth the $32 ticket price. The school is a fully accredited university and only accepts 25-30 students at a time. They travel to Taliesin West for winter session and live in shelters on the property."
